Specified differently
No other room in the building wears furniture out the way a bar does
Guests sit for three hours, lean back on two legs, slide the stool out with their heels and put a wet glass down on the seat when the table is full. The specification has to answer that, not a mood board.
- 01Seat height is a layout decisionCounter tops at 900–950 mm take a 650 mm seat. Bar tops at 1050–1100 mm take 750 mm. Get it wrong and the guest sits with their chin above the counter all night.
- 02Footrests carry the loadStools without a properly welded footrest rock within a season. We weld and grind it as part of the frame, not as an add-on.
- 03Spill cleaning decides the fabricBeer, citrus and tonic are what actually hit the seat. We quote PU and contract vinyl alongside fabric and tell you what each one costs to keep clean.
