Who is responsible
This website is operated by Tanner & Bell, Foshan, Guangdong, China. For any question about this policy or about data held about you, message us on WhatsApp.
What is collected
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party tracking scripts. Data reaches us in two ways only:
- What you send us. If you email or telephone, we hold the name, company, email address, telephone number and any drawings or photographs you send. This is used to answer the enquiry and to prepare a quotation.
- Server logs. The hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, requested page, timestamp, user agent — for security and for diagnosing faults.
Web fonts are served from this site's own server. No request is made to a third-party font service, and no font provider sees the visitor's IP address.
Why it is held
Enquiry correspondence and drawings are held to answer the enquiry, to issue and revise a quotation, and to fulfil an order if one follows. Server logs are held for security and fault diagnosis. Nothing is held for advertising, and nothing is sold or rented to anyone.
How long it is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as the commercial relationship is active and for up to three years afterwards, so that a repeat order can be quoted against the previous drawing. Server logs are kept for a short rolling period by the hosting provider. You can ask for either to be deleted sooner.
Who sees it
Staff who need it to answer the enquiry or run the order. Where an order proceeds, the shipping documents carry the names and addresses required for export, and those go to the freight forwarder and to customs as required by law. No other third party receives personal data.
Your rights
You can ask what data is held about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send a message on WhatsApp and we will respond within 30 days. If a request conflicts with a legal obligation to retain export records, we will say so and explain which record is affected.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies for advertising or analytics. If that changes, this page will be updated before any such cookie is used.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting how existing data is used will be notified to anyone with an active enquiry.
