Retro upholstered chair, high back, 975 mm
At 975 mm this sits closer to an armchair than a dining chair, and it is the model that gives a corner a sense of enclosure.

Height as a room device
Seating at 975 mm puts the back above the eye line of a standing guest, which turns a corner into a room of its own. In a bar that means a snug: people sit there to stay, and the space stops being a walkway.
The cost is sight line. Runs of these hide whatever is behind them, so they belong against a wall or around a fixed table rather than in the middle of a floor.
Steel under a tall back
Tall backs catch elbows and shoulders as people pass, so the frame takes load well above the seat. Welded steel carries that without the flex a timber frame shows at this height, and the padded back is built on a moulded shell so the frame does not print through it.
At 600 mm wide the chair is generous, which suits a lounge and does not suit a row of eight along one wall.
