Solid wood chair, microfibre seat
Microfibre is the cover that looks like suede and cleans like plastic, and on a bar floor that combination is worth more than either property alone.

Why microfibre suits a busy room
Suede marks the moment a wet glass touches it. Microfibre is a woven synthetic with the same nap and a sealed back, so liquid stays on the surface long enough to blot and the nap brushes back with a hand.
It also takes dye evenly, which matters when a run has to match a banquette. Genuine suede varies from hide to hide and cannot be matched across twenty chairs; microfibre can.
Frames with nothing showing
No bolts on the outside faces, no visible staples, no caps over fixings. On a chair that sits in a public room, every visible fixing is a place where a guest's hand finds something that feels cheap.
The frame is glued and clamped as a unit rather than assembled from sub-frames, so the seat and back rails are one continuous structure and do not move against each other over time.
