Solid wood chair with fabric seat
At 430 mm deep this chair fits into a booth run that a standard 500 mm chair cannot, and that is the whole reason it exists.

Depth, not width, is what fills a floor
Seat count is set by how chairs sit against tables, and depth is the number that decides it. Shaving 70 mm off the depth of every chair across a twelve-table run gives back most of a walkway, without losing a single seat.
Narrow chairs only work if the seat is still wide enough to sit square in. This one keeps a full 520 mm across the front and takes the reduction out of the back rake instead, so a guest sits forward rather than perched.
Fabric on a low seat
On a 750 mm chair the seat is where a guest lands, not where they lean, so the cover takes compression rather than friction. Tight-weave fabric over firm foam holds its shape; a loose weave over soft foam cups within a season and looks worn long before it is.
