Stackable aluminium stool, H1130 mm
Stackable and 1130 mm tall is a combination that only works if the frames nest exactly, and that is a tooling decision rather than a design one.

What stackable really requires
Stools nest when the seat of one clears the back of the next by 30 mm or more, which fixes the back height and the seat rake. Twenty stacked stand under two metres, which is what makes storage in a back corridor possible.
Nesting badly is worse than not stacking: a stack that leans has to be tied, and a tied stack is a trip hazard in a fire exit.
Aluminium at 1130 mm
At this height the column takes a bending load, and aluminium needs a larger section than steel to take the same one. That is why a stackable bar stool looks chunkier at the leg than a welded steel one, and why the weight saving over steel is smaller than the material suggests.
