Moulded plastic stool, woven back
Two-colour moulding is what makes a plastic stool look designed rather than cheap, and on a bar floor it also hides the scratches that show on a single-colour shell.

Two colours, one moulding
Shells moulded in two colours have a core that reads at every scratch, so a scuff exposes white and looks like wear rather than damage. On single-colour plastic the same scuff is a bright line that never goes away.
The pattern on the back does a second job: it stiffens a thin shell without adding a frame.
Where plastic belongs
On a floor that is hosed down, in a room that re-sets nightly, and anywhere the seats are stacked in a corridor. It does not belong against a radiator or beside a pass, where heat will soften the shell and it will not come back.
