Woven seat stool on chrome base
Woven seat, chrome base and a timber back is an odd combination on paper and a good one in a garden bar, where the seat has to dry and the base has to survive a hose.

Seat that dries
Rain on an upholstered seat means a wet guest for the next two hours. Woven seats drain through and are dry within minutes of the shower passing, which is the reason terrace furniture is built this way rather than for the look.
The weave also does not hold smells. On a floor where drinks are spilled nightly, that matters more than the texture.
Chrome under a timber back
Chrome is the part that survives weather; timber is the part that has to be oiled. Together they let one stool be both comfortable and washable, at the cost of two maintenance routines instead of one.
