Velvet lift stool, 700–900 mm

The gap between standards
Counters get built to 900, 950 or 1000 mm depending on the top and what is under it. Adjusting across all three removes the risk of ordering before the joinery is final, which is the only reason a venue below twenty covers should pay for a column.
Where the height is known, a fixed stool of the same design is cheaper and has nothing to wear.
Velvet on a small footprint
375 mm square is narrow enough to fit four stools along a two-metre run with room to sit down. Narrow seats suit a guest who sits square, and velvet is what stops that reading as a bench.
