Proportion is what separates European style from ornament
The style reads through the relationship between the back height, the seat depth and the leg section, not through the amount of carving. Backs that reach the shoulder blades with a slight rake, and seats at 480 mm deep, read as European whether or not it has a moulded rail. Add carving to the wrong proportions and it reads as a reproduction, which is a different and cheaper thing.
The legs here are hardwood rather than moulded resin, so the carved detail has grain running through it and takes a stain the way the rest of the frame does.
PU at bar height, and where it fails
PU leather is a coated fabric, and its failure mode is at the seam where a person slides in and out. The seams here are double-stitched with a reinforcing tape behind, and the front edge of the seat carries a foam roll rather than a sharp corner, because the sharp corner is where the coating wears through first.
What a VIP room actually needs
Fewer pieces, better proportion, and a finish that survives being cleaned between sittings. This set is quoted per room rather than per table where the room has a fixed layout, because the count and the spacing are decided together.
