Square table, 600 × H740 mm
740 mm is the height the chair industry settled on, and everything downstream — seat height, knee clearance, the angle a guest leans at — is decided by it.

Seven hundred and forty
740 mm is not a design choice, it is the number that makes a 450 mm chair work: the knee clears the underside by a hand's width, the elbow lands just above the top, and the guest stops noticing the furniture. Move the table 30 mm either way and the same chair becomes uncomfortable without any obvious reason.
That is why this table is specified with the chairs rather than after them. Rooms bought in two orders usually end up with a mismatch nobody can name and everybody feels.
Square, and the two-seat case
At 600 mm square, two people sit opposite each other with a comfortable gap and a plate each. Push two of these together and they read as a four without a visible seam, which is what makes them useful in a room that reconfigures between services.
Square also packs: rows of them along a wall take less floor than the same seat count in rounds.
Black frame, and why
Black frames disappear under the top and let the wood carry the room. It also hides the scuffs a chair leaves on the way in, which on a 740 mm table is the part of the frame that takes the most hits.
