Stone needs a column, not legs
At 900 mm a stone top is heavy, and legs under it would sit exactly where guests put their feet in a curved booth. One central column takes the load and leaves the floor of the booth clear.
The column is 90 mm steel, powder coated, with a base plate sized to the top rather than to the column. That plate is what stops the table rocking, and it is the part most suppliers undersize.
Cane inside a curve
The cane on this piece sits between a timber rail at seat height and the top rail, in four panels. It gives the booth an inside face that is not upholstery, which is what stops a cream seat from becoming a cream box.
It is also the part of the booth a guest touches when they slide in, and cane takes that better than a light vinyl does.
Where the entry goes
Half-round booths need one clear place to get in. On this one the opening is 700 mm and it is set opposite the column so a guest steps in and sits down in one movement.
Put the opening beside the table and the guest has to walk round it. Tell us the room and the entry gets drawn where the circulation already is.
