Commercial Cream Leather Fluted Banquette Sofa
Back to back, two booths share one structure instead of two. That saves 60 mm of floor and around a fifth of the frame cost, and it is invisible from either side.

One spine, two backs
Two booths against each other normally means two full carcasses back to back, which is 120 mm of frame doing the work of 60. Building them onto one shared panel saves the floor area and the cost, and nobody sitting on either side can tell.
The spine is a 22 mm board with foam on both faces, so each side gets its own padding and its own channel run. It also means sound does not carry the way it does through two separate thin backs.
Ivory, and the honest wear story
Ivory shows the room. Every mark, every transfer from a denim seat, every scuff along the front edge. In a bar it is a one-year colour unless the room is managed, and it should be specified with that in mind.
What helps is that the seat is a separate panel from the back. Replace two seat pads in year three and the piece looks new again without touching anything structural.
Legs rather than a box
Pale timber legs rather than a plinth change how much of the floor is visible, and in a narrow room that is what stops back-to-back seating from feeling like a wall down the middle.
Legs also let the floor be swept under. On a box, everything collects at the shadow line.
