What modular has to mean in year three
Most modular seating is modular at the factory and fixed by the time it reaches the floor. Bolts go through the sides, the units are screwed together for stability, and the option to separate them disappears on install day.
These join with two concealed cam locks per joint, reached from underneath. With an Allen key, a fitter takes a run of four apart in under ten minutes, which is the difference between a system and a compromise.
Charcoal as a working colour
Charcoal hides what black exposes. On black, dust and scuffs read as grey marks; on charcoal they read as part of the surface. In a room with stone floors and low light, that is the difference between a cover that lasts and one that looks tired.
The leather is a pigment finish at 1.2 mm, matt. Gloss would pick up every ceiling lamp in the room.
Feet, because modular means it moves
Each unit has four adjustable feet rather than a continuous plinth. Plinths assume a flat floor and a fixed arrangement; feet follow the floor and survive being lifted and reset.
If the floor has more than 3 mm of variation across a unit footprint, tell us and the feet are specified longer.
