Bar Booth Seating With Rattan Back And Black Table Tops
Fabric in a booth is a rub-count decision. Below 40 000 cycles a woven cover on a fixed seat will abraid at the front edge before the room is two years old.

Rub count, not handle
Every fabric that comes through the workshop gets judged first on Martindale cycles. Sixty thousand is the floor for a fixed seat in a room that turns over several times a night; below forty the front edge of the seat is where it goes.
The weave here is a tight polycotton at 60 000 cycles. It does not feel luxurious in the hand, and that is the correct trade for a booth that will see a hundred thousand people.
Bolsters instead of a stitched back
Loose bolsters let a guest set their own depth. They also mean the part that takes the most wear is replaceable without touching the upholstered back.
Zip closures along the long edge, and the filler is a wrapped foam core rather than loose fibre, so a bolster does not go flat in a month. Covers come off for cleaning.
Navy on a black plinth
Navy and black only work when one of them has enough surface to separate them. The plinth is 45 mm and sits in shadow under the seat, which is enough for the eye to find the line.
Fabric also absorbs light where vinyl reflects it. In a room with too many hard surfaces, that absorption is worth more than the extra cleaning a vinyl would save.
