PU stool with circular back, 640–850 mm
Circular backs are the cheapest way to make a stool look like a piece of furniture rather than a seat on a stick, and it also removes the corners that get knocked in a tight room.

Round back, no corners
Rectangular backs catch on the next stool when a row is pushed together, and the corner is where the cover goes first. Round backs slide past their neighbour and put the wear on the curve, which has no edge to fail.
On a floor that is re-set nightly, that is worth more than the shape is worth aesthetically.
Six colours, one frame
Bright covers are how a lounge signals its colour scheme without repainting, and how it changes one two years later. Because the frame and the mechanism stay the same, a re-cover is a small job rather than a furniture order.
