Low timber stool, H920 mm
920 mm overall is a counter stool with a short back, and short is what keeps it out of the sight line from the door to the bar.

Short back, clear sight line
Backs that stop 270 mm above the seat gives a guest something to lean on without breaking the view down the room. On a narrow site where the counter faces the entrance, that is the difference between a bar that reads as open and one that reads as a corridor of chairs.
The short back is also the cheaper joint: it loads the frame closer to the seat, where the timber section is largest.
Light frame at counter height
At 920 mm the column is short enough that a slim leg stays stiff. That is why this frame carries easily and still does not rock — the stiffness comes from the height, not from the wall thickness.
