Minimalist stainless stool, armless
Nothing on this stool can be re-covered, reupholstered or stained, which is either the reason to buy it or the reason not to, depending on how long the room is planned to last.

No consumables to replace
Upholstery is the part of a stool that wears out. Take it away and what is left is metal and welds, with a service life measured in decades rather than seasons. On a bar that expects to be re-branded twice in that time, a stainless seat is the one item that does not follow the colour scheme.
The cost is contact: metal is cold in winter and loud when a glass is set down hard. Neither a terrace nor a high-volume floor notices.
Made to size
Sizing a stainless frame to a counter is a fabrication job rather than a joint job, so a non-standard height costs a drawing revision, not a new mould. That is why this model is quoted per project rather than off a list.
