Compact swivel stool, chrome base
Compact stools are not a smaller version of a normal one: it is a stool where the base was designed first and the seat was fitted to what the base would carry.

Floor area is the constraint
In a narrow bar the walk line behind the seating is the number everything else answers to. Base inside the seat outline keeps that line at 600 mm; a splayed four-leg stool of the same seat height needs 750 mm and turns a workable aisle into an obstacle.
The cost of the compact base is stability at the top of the range, which is why it is weighted rather than hollow. On a counter run the weight is never seen and always felt.
Swivel on a narrow counter
Where the aisle is tight, the swivel does the work the guest would otherwise do by pushing the stool back. Guests who can turn to face the room without moving the stool do not block the aisle to talk to the next seat.
