Vintage Industrial Bar Chair And Table Set With Green Bench Seating
Green leather and dark timber is the combination that reads as a established bar rather than a new one, and it is the reason old pubs still look right with the lights off.

Channel tufting on a bench back
Vertical channels on a bench back do three things at once: they hold the foam in fixed pockets so the back cannot sag, they hide the seams between foam blocks, and they break a large flat surface into readable stripes under a low light. On a 1800 mm bench, that last one matters most, because a plain back at that size reads as a wall.
Each channel is wrapped and stitched as a separate panel, so a damaged section can be re-covered on its own rather than the whole bench going back to the workshop.
Deep green against dark timber
Green and brown are close in value, so the leather reads as a tone within the timber rather than as a contrast against it. That is what makes a room feel layered instead of decorated, and it only works when both are dark: a pale oak table under deep green upholstery breaks the effect.
Iron chairs on a timber bench run
Mixing an iron chair with a timber bench is a deliberate contrast in weight, and it also solves the access problem: a bench holds the wall, the chairs stay loose so a bay can be entered from the open side. The chair frames are matte black iron so they sit visually with the table legs rather than competing with the bench.
