Contemporary Solid Wood Bar Counter And Booth Set
Booth back and bar counter in the same timber is what makes a small room look designed rather than filled, because the eye reads one continuous line around the space.

Matching the counter and the booth back
When the counter front and the booth back are cut from the same boards, the room reads as one piece of joinery. That only works if both are ordered together and the timber is graded at the same time, because a counter built in March and a booth built in June will differ in tone by a visible amount.
Both are finished with the same sealer, which also means both can be repaired the same way if a section is damaged.
Counter at 1050, booth at 1050
Running the booth back to the counter height is a deliberate alignment: the two horizontal lines meet across the room, and the space looks longer than it is. Dropping the booth back to 900 mm would break that line and make the room read as two separate purchases.
Booth seat at 450 with a 1050 back
The seat sits low relative to the back, which gives 600 mm of upholstered back behind a guest. That is generous for a booth and it is what makes the bay comfortable for a long evening rather than a quick drink.
