High End Bar Sofa Booth Seat And Armchair Set
High-backed booths do two jobs at once: they make the guest feel enclosed and they stop sound from travelling across the room, which is why the quietest seat in a bar is always a booth.

Eleven hundred millimetres of back
At 1100 mm the booth back is above the head of a seated guest, so the booth reads as a room within the room. That height is also what does the acoustic work: sound from the next bay hits the back and is absorbed rather than passing over it, which lowers the noise level across a whole floor.
The trade-off is sightlines. High-backed booth runs hide everything behind them, so the bar back and the staff cannot see into the bays. In a members' room that is the point; in a room where a bartender needs to watch the floor, it is the wrong choice.
Seat depth and the 450 mm rule
Booth seats at 450 mm on a 700 mm depth put the guest's back against the padding and their feet on the floor without a footrest. Deeper than 750 mm and the shorter half of the room cannot touch the floor, which is why booth depth is specified against table height rather than against look.
Dark green leather and cleaning
Green leather shows a spill as a darker patch that fades as it dries, where black shows a sheen and tan shows a ring. On a floor that is cleaned in the dark at three in the morning, the colour that hides the most is the practical choice.
