Deep green under warm light
Black upholstery absorbs the light from a warm lamp and flattens into a silhouette, so a room full of black booths reads as dark furniture rather than as seating. Deep green keeps the depth while holding enough of the light to show the channel lines, which is why it works in a venue lit at 2700 K.
The practical side is that green hides the marks a black cover shows: a scuff on black reads as a grey streak, on green it reads as nothing.
Two heights in one floor
The same timber and the same black frame run at 750 mm for the seated zone and 1050 mm for the standing zone, so the two areas read as one order rather than two. Buying both heights against the same frame section means the leg profile is identical, and from the door the room looks planned.
Communal tables and the 1800 mm limit
The 1800 mm communal top on two leg frames carries six comfortably and eight at a push. Past 1800 mm the top needs a centre support, which cuts the run into two groups and defeats the purpose. That is why the communal tables in this range stop where they do and the length is made up by placing two side by side with a gap a guest can walk through.
