Industrial Vintage High-Legged Bar Table And Stool Set
Splayed legs are a structural choice pretending to be a style choice: they widen the footprint at the floor, which is where a tall table actually needs the width.

Why the legs splay
At 1050 mm a table with vertical legs has a base footprint the same size as its top, so a lean on the edge puts the whole load on two feet. Splaying each leg out by 60 mm widens the base to 820 mm under a 700 mm top, and the extra width is what stops the table rocking when someone uses it to get up.
The splay also moves the leg out of the way of a guest's feet, which on a tall table is where the conflict always is. Vertical legs at 1050 mm put the front leg exactly where the foot wants to land.
Textured powder coat earns its keep
Smooth powder coat on a black table top shows every fingerprint and every smear, and in a bar it is cleaned constantly. The textured finish breaks up the reflection so marks do not read, and it also grips a glass better than a gloss surface. On a black top that has to look sharp at close range, the texture does more than the colour.
Four per table, not six
At 700 mm square, four stools is the honest count. Six is possible if the stools are 300 mm backless and the table is used for standing rather than eating, which is the arrangement this set is specified for: a high table in a busy room where two guests stand and two perch.
