Bamboo at bar height is a moisture question before it is a looks question
Strand-woven bamboo is dimensionally steadier than solid timber of the same thickness, because the strands are compressed with the grain alternating. That matters at 1050 mm, where a top is close to the glasswasher, the sink and the spill line, and where the air above a bar is the wettest air in the room. Solid oak at the same 25 mm will cup slightly over a season in that position; the strand board stays flat.
The edge is where bamboo fails first if it is left raw. Every top here is edge-banded before the frame goes on, so the plies are sealed and a glass knocked against the rim chips the band rather than lifting a layer.
The frame is steel because the stool count is four
Four stools on one 1050 mm top puts a lateral load on the legs every time somebody pushes back to stand. Steel at 40 × 40 mm with a welded footrest ring takes that load at the floor and at the top rail at the same time, and it does not develop the joint movement a timber apron would after a year of it. The ring doubles as the footrest, which is the part of a bar-height set that gets worn through first.
What ships and what is decided on site
The set leaves as a flat crate: top, two leg frames, stretcher and four stools. Assembly is eight bolts and does not need the top lifted by two people. What we cannot decide from here is the run length against the wall, so the stool count is quoted per set and the number of sets is quoted against your plan.
