Commercial Green Double Side Booth Seating, Fast Turnaround
At 35 mm on a 45 mm pitch, a channel back stops reading as upholstery and starts reading as a surface. That is the point where it also gets harder to keep clean.

Fine pitch, and the cleaning trade
Thirty-five millimetre channels on a 45 mm pitch give a back that catches light in vertical bands and reads as a surface rather than a set of cushions. It is also eleven seams per metre instead of eight, which is eleven places for dust to sit.
The seams are pressed flat rather than piped, and the foam behind them is 30 mm so the channel does not open into a groove. Flat-pressed seams take a cloth; open grooves do not.
Upholstered to the floor
No plinth means no line at the bottom and no shadow gap, which is what makes this run look like part of the wall instead of furniture against it. It also means the floor has to be right, because there is nothing to scribe under.
Where the floor is uneven we build with a 10 mm concealed clearance and a flexible base closure. It is not visible and it stops the run from rocking on a high spot.
Mint at this scale
Pale green over eleven metres is a decision, not an accent. In a room with white walls it carries the space; in a room with timber and brass it turns acid.
Ask for a metre of the cover in the actual room before the order is placed. It is the only reliable test at this scale.
